Elica Space Hood

For those of you who do not already know about Elica's designer hood "Space," this is particularly special as it is the first hood to incorporate the patented Elica Deep Silence (EDS) technology.

This hood allows you to listen to your music in the kitchen with your cooker hood switched on at the same time. This is because it is almost completely silent. Elica have managed to reduce the noise in this cooker hood by 35% compare to most extractors.

Why Buy a Cooker Hood?

There are many reasons why more and more people are purchasing cooker hoods for their kitchens these days- one of the main reasons being ventilation. The traditional way of ventilating your kitchen would be to leave the doors and windows open for a bit and let some air in, but this is not always convenient- and it doesn't always work. In summer, if you leave your door open, the air doesn't tend to be that cold or breezy anyway so you do not get the desired effect. In winter, when leaving the door open would be more effective, you dont want to because it lets all the heat out. That's why a cooker hood is easier and more effective.
