There are many reasons why more and more people are purchasing cooker hoods for their kitchens these days- one of the main reasons being ventilation. The traditional way of ventilating your kitchen would be to leave the doors and windows open for a bit and let some air in, but this is not always convenient- and it doesn't always work. In summer, if you leave your door open, the air doesn't tend to be that cold or breezy anyway so you do not get the desired effect. In winter, when leaving the door open would be more effective, you dont want to because it lets all the heat out. That's why a cooker hood is easier and more effective.

Elica are respnsible for making most of the worlds cooker hoods, but quite often we don't see it as they are rebranded.

The extractors that Elica do promote themselves are considered to be the best in the world, but what does the world think?
